Description of problem:
After rapid change from text to default looks the cursor broken
(https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/yGvJKvt6M5lEBJKC0qgPsb9eGQ9pRrydus7DXPMlBzIBFKdg9Ijbg-VxGElEzafp2zhYR_ESsE0=w1896-h859)
or look this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvbQFzOdGLQ&feature=youtu.be

the same problem also appears in text editors e.g Gedit, Mousepad and Java IDEs like Netbeans and PHPStorm to, it only occurs with the Proprietary Display Driver (any version from 13.12 up to 14.6 Beta), with the xorg ati drivers it works.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the terminal
2. drag the pointer quickly from the text field out of the window frame
3. repeat this, it does not always work directly.

Actual result:
A broken cursor (https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/yGvJKvt6M5lEBJKC0qgPsb9eGQ9pRrydus7DXPMlBzIBFKdg9Ijbg-VxGElEzafp2zhYR_ESsE0=w1896-h859)

Expected result:
A normal default cursor

still a supplement,

i have in the xorg.conf add the Option "HWCursor" and tested it in more desktop enviroments. (Cinnamon, XFCE, Unity) with all the same effect, it must be a driver or X11 bug.

I could test it only with the integrated graphics from the Kaveri APU.

This message is a reminder that your bug is marked as Catalyst 14.4.

The current legacy Catalyst version is 13.1.
The current Catalyst version is 15.7.

Approximately 7 days from now the Bugzilla administrator will be removing the 14.4 version. At that time your bug will be CLOSED as WONTFIX.

Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue. However, the Bugzilla administrator provides this as a unofficial, free service to AMD customers, and I like to keep my systems neat and tidy. If you would like to keep your bug from being closed, please try a new Catalyst version and update the 'version' field if the issue still occurs.

If you are unable to update the version, please make a comment and someone will change it for you.
